When you visit our website https://www.podiumeducation.com (the “Website”), sign up for communications from us, you trust us with your personal information. This privacy policy applies to all information we collect through our Website and any related services, sales, marketing or events (we refer to them collectively in this privacy policy as the “Services”) before you enroll in a course. Information that we collect from you after you have enrolled in a course and/or visit our course websites is subject to a separate privacy policy covering our course websites, which is available at https://hq.globaltech.org (the “Course Website”).

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements).

Opting out of email marketing

You can unsubscribe from our marketing email list at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the emails that we send or by contacting us using the details provided below. You will then be removed from the marketing email list – however, we may still need to send you Service-related emails that are necessary for the administration and use of your account. To otherwise opt out, you may contact us using the contact information provided.

Do California residents have specific privacy rights?

In Short: Yes, if you are a resident of California, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information.

At present, the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 does not apply to Podium Education. If that were to change in the future, we will update this privacy policy, and attempt to notify you of that change.

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing to us using the contact information provided below.

Do Nevada residents have specific privacy rights?

In Short: Yes, if you are a resident of Nevada, you are granted specific rights regarding your ability to opt out of the sale of your information.

We do not presently sell the personal information we collect to any third parties. If we were to do so in the future, we will update this policy, and provide Nevada residents with the opportunity to opt out of the sale of their personal information.

Children’s Privacy

The Website and Services are intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. We do not knowingly accept, request, or solicit information from children or knowingly market to children. If we receive actual knowledge that anyone under the age of 13 has provided personal information to us without parental consent, we will delete that information.

Do-Not-Track

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a “Last Updated” date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible.
